These are trying times and causing a lot of changes and adjustments but while things may change (and they do even in the best of times!) aren’t you glad that God doesn’t change? He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And there will be a tomorrow, and we will get through this. Don’t take my word for it, stand on God’s promises!

Virtual Youth Group
Our youth group has begun to meet virtually through Zoom. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm our students are getting together for a topical study, prayer time, community building and even virtual games. It’s an encouraging and fun time for all who participate.
If you know someone in junior or senior high they’re welcome to join even if they’re not part of the GBC family. We want to shine God’s light to teenagers and share with them a message of hope. If you’d like information on this opportunity please let me know.
Virtual Bible Study
Part 2 of our online Bible study is posted for download here:

This topical study will help you as we all wrestle with the natural questions coming up during this time of crisis. Lets tackle the our anxiety over the Corona Virus with scripture!
A thought for the day: This will pass
The Bible tells us there will be trials. First Peter 4:12 says, “Dear friends, don’t be surprised or shocked that you are going through testing that is like walking through fire”. These are tough times, but they won’t last forever. We need to do what the health professionals and government recommends. We need to take the common sense actions that will decrease the spread of this virus. We won’t need to make these changes forever. Our church will gather again!
In the meantime, we can look for ways to connect, continue to gather on Sundays virtually and keep letting our lights shine. Hang in there, God’s got this!
In His grip,
Pastor Chris
