Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step, Christ-centered recovery group that is available for anyone dealing with life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. As the Bible says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free" (Galatians 5:1). CR provides a safe space for people to gather and discuss the challenges they face. By sharing our stories with one another, utilizing the scriptural tools found in the Christ-centered curriculum, and developing a deeper relationship with Jesus, people can experience freedom, healing, and wholeness.
Our Celebrate Recovery evening begins with Large Group at 7pm. The Large Group program includes singing, and we alternate weekly between hearing the life stories of people who have experienced freedom through Celebrate Recovery or teaching around topics that relate to our recovery journey. We offer gender-based Small Groups (Open Share Groups) for men and women in the second part of our evening. Using respectful guidelines, Small Groups offer a safe space to share your struggles and victories openly with others who understand the recovery process. Participants find acceptance, community, accountability and support throughout the evening. Come check us out this Wednesday! Meeting Weekly at Hope House 10 Cork St E, Guelph, ON Weekly Meetings begin at 7pm on Wednesdays Contact Jacob Ginter, or Ken Tamminga for more details. |
