40 Day Prayer Guide
In January of 2020 Guelph Bible Chapel embarked upon a journey of 100 Days of Prayer. There was immense blessing from small groups praying over that 100-day period and the current focus areas (Prayer, Outreach, Small Groups, and Sunday Services) are the result of those prayers.
The following 40 Day Prayer Guide is to encourage and challenge all people attending GBC to personal daily prayer from February 17th to March 28th, 2021. Much of the material for this guide is taken from the 40 Days of Prayer: Devotional Guide for Church Revitalization (Kentucky Baptist Convention). The material was slightly modified to fit the context of GBC. |

We see this devotional guide as helping us to fulfill our vision for prayer at GBC, that we would:
You will see a gradual progression in this guide from prayer that focuses on your spiritual state/status with our Heavenly Father towards prayer that looks for the continued revitalization of our church and the fulfillment of the Great Commission here in Guelph.
It is the sincere desire of GBC leadership that this guide helps each one of us to turn our attention towards the God and Father of our Lord Jesus and His desires in a time where there is so much that may discourage (e.g., COVID-19) and distract us.
As you take up the challenge to read the short passages and pray the suggested prayers set out in this guide, we as the GBC leadership sincerely pray that “the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”. Romans 15:13
