Missionary Ventures Canada |
Missionary Ventures Canada (MVC) is a Christian interdenominational organization that works with individuals and churches to bring the love and message of Christ to a hurting world. They provide opportunities for people to become involved serving in projects overseas, but also implement and direct international projects through churches involving education, feeding programs, agricultural initiatives, water filtration projects, skills development and medical clinics, which address social justice concerns in many countries. This is not only a source of inspiration to those who live in difficult situations, but also helps to bring the love of Jesus Christ to a hurting world. MVC’s philosophy is local responsibility, but always with outside accountability. This principle recognizes project management is best facilitated by the individual closest to the program or ministry.

Iwona Zagrobelna |
Iwona Zagrobelna is a missionary with Athletes in Action who works with youth in Poland. She has been on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in Poland since 2012. She came to know Jesus through the ministry of Athletes in Action. She met and interacted with them while attending basketball high school in Warsaw and playing for the Polish National Team. From high school, she went to America to play and study. She received a Bachelor's degree in Economics and went back to Poland to pursue a dream of playing professional basketball. Post-graduation time was very different from what she imagined. Many of her dreams came true, but she felt empty inside. She started asking questions and eventually surrendered her life to God. With a desire to grow in faith, she moved to Warsaw and joined Campus Crusade for Christ to win, build and send people in the name of Jesus.
